On March 15, 2004, the Uncompahgre Field Office recommended [he lease assignments be approved. On <br />February 3, 2005, the Minerals Management Service (MMS) determined the Bowie Resources, LLC leases are in <br />good standing with MMS production and royalty reporting and financial requirements. <br />We accept the notice of change of operator of the Bowie Resources, Limited Logical Mining Unit (LMU) from <br />Bowie Resources, Limited to Bowie Resources, LLC. The name of the LMU is also changed from Bowie No. 1 <br />LMU [o Bowie LMU. The changes are effective on [he effective date of the assignments. <br />A Statement of Qualifications was filed by Bowie Acquisition Group, LLC, now Bowie Resources, LLC along with <br />a copy of the Certificate issued by the Colorado Secretary of State on January 12, 2004, relating to the change of <br />name from Bowie Acquisition Group, LLC to Bowie Resources, LLC, a Kentucky limited liability company. Based <br />on [he information submitted, we have determined that the regulatory requirements at 43 CFR 3472.2-2 have been <br />met. Copies have been filed in the above referenced case files. <br />Bowie Resources, LLC has met the requirements of 43 CFR 3453. The assignments of record title in the above <br />referenced Federal coal leases are hereby appr ed effective arch 1, 2005. <br />J es E.
