The first one is the occurrence of seeps in the area below and downgradient from the Pond H-8 dam. H-G should provide an explanation as to the occurrence of these seeps (i.e. are they spoil springs or Pond related). Due to their Droximity to the dam, there is concern about the seeps origin. The second item involves noxious weed control on the reclaimed areas. Minor Revision - 2 allowed H-G to use herbicides to control Canada tnistle. From on-site observation it appears H-G has put forth consideraole effort to control this weed. However, in addition to Canada thistle other noxious weeds (most notably Dalmation toadflax) have been ooserved on the mine site. H-G should include these and any other noxious species in their weed control efforts. II.
