i 1 <br />Page 2 <br />Mr. Wright <br />March 13, 1981 <br />In response to the attached summary, Western Fuels should assemble a single <br />informational package addressing these concerns. The format of this package <br />should consist: of revised or additional pages and exhibits, which can be <br />directly substituted for any obsolete materials within the application. <br />Five (5) copies should be submitted to this office and seven copies to the <br />Office of Surface Mining. This office is also requesting that submittals to <br />the Division be integrated into the application by a representative of the <br />applicant. <br />Response to many of the issues identified in the permit application will <br />not prohibit the Division and the Office of Surface Mining from continuing <br />the review of the Deserado Mine permit application. A prompt response would <br />however, expedite the process by answering several of the questions in this <br />summary thereby allowing the review to continue on the established schedule. <br />Should you have any questions regarding this letter or the attached summary, <br />please feel free to contact me. <br />Sincerely, <br />`O / <br />Edward L.
