20. The up and down at ream fill slopes will be riprapped with a well graded <br />mixture of rock sizes containing no material greater than 2 feet or <br />smaller than 3 inches. The ratio of maximum to minimum dimension of any <br />rock shall not exceed 6:1. <br />21. Drivable waterbara or "thank-you-mama" will be installed at approximately <br />125`foot intervals on grades above 10 percent, 250 foot intervals on_ <br />grad-- ee o~-~ to 10 percent, and 500 foot intervals on 1 to 4 percent _ <br />grades. Placement of a culvert will-take-the place of a vaterbat. <br />22. Drivable waterbars and culverts will be installed and approved prior to <br />moving the drilling rig onto the location. <br />23. Trash will be confined in a covered container and hauled to an approved <br />landfill. Burning of waste or oil is not approved, and spoil material <br />will be kept onsite for recontouring. <br />24. The Grand Junction Resource Area Manager will be notified at least 24 <br />hours prior to commencing reclamation work.= ~c, <br />25. The disturbed areas will be seeded with the following mixture. <br />Application rates are for pure, live seed (PLS). Seed tags must be <br />submitted_to the area manager within 30 days of seeding, „j_.- ~`~ / 'G <br />S ecies <br />Application Rate <br />lbs/Acre/PLS <br />The seed mixture provided in the South Leases Exploration Plan. <br />26. Prepare seedbed by contour cultivating 4 to 6 inches deep. Drill seed <br />1/2 to 1 inch Seep following the contour. In areas that cannot be <br />drilled, broadcast seed at 1.5 times the application rate and cover 1/2 <br />to 1 inch deep with a harrow or drag bar. <br />Seeding must he completed after September 1 and prior to October 15. <br />27. Restore the access road and all drill sites to approximate the original <br />contours. During reclamation of the site, push the fill material into <br />cuts and un over the backslope. T,eave no depressions that will trap <br />water or form ponds. Distribute topsoil evenly over the location and <br />seed according to the above seed mixture. The access road and location <br />will be ripped or disked prior to seeding. L _,,:~ <br />The area is considered to be satisfactorily reclaimed when: <br />A. Soil erosion resulting from the operation has been stabilized. <br />B. ,A vegetative cover at least equal to that present prior to <br />disturbance and a plant species composition at least as desirable <br />as that present prior to disturbance has been established. <br />Any additional work will be required until these conditions are <br />satisfied. <br />
