Tate
Senior Engineer
Western Associated Loal Corporation
410 - 17th Street, Suite 2300
Denver, Colorado 80202
Dear Mr. Tate:
This is to confirm our conversation during our February 3, 1983,
meeting concerning the Blue Ribbon Coal Company operation in Delta
County. Based on information from Mr. Scott Miller and the files,
[here is some question as to the size and number of coal stockpiles
anticipated by the Division to be located at this site.
Therefore, if Western will submit a request for amendment to permit
C-12,411 and provide the Division with information on the number,
location, maximum size and anticipated throughput of each stockpile
at the mine site, the Division approves temporary use of the second
stockpile effective immediately, under permit C-12,411. Unless
unanticipated impacts are determined, the second stockpile will re-
ceive permanent approval when the permit is revised. In return,
Western has agreed to provide sufficient information for, and request,
the amendment by February 15, 1983.
Sincerely, j~
P`te' C /'Gl l~~ ~'~r `1,GV
Gary McCutchen, P.E.
Chief, Engineering Sec[ion
Air Pollution Control Division
GMc/na
