1

In the first and second year of operation there will be some
relatively minor water usage for haul road and plant site dust
control, to be brought in via tanker truck. The plant and office
personnel will use bottled water. In year two, well(s) will be
drilled and a washing system built to wash rock for specific
concrete uses. The washing area will be located with the scale.
This well water can then be used for dust control also.
All wells within a one-mile radius of the operation are shown on
the attached location nap and accompanying owner listing. As
' indicated previously, the mining will not affect surface or
groundwater, and will not affect area wells.
The nearest well outside of the permit boundary (i10) is owned by
' the Ninkler Cattle Company. The next nearest well (t13) on the
rhyolite formation is one mile from the mining. In this one mile
distance, any significant ground vibration will have been
' dissipated and absorbed by the ground. All other wells are
located on different geologic formations not directly connected
to this upland rhyolite deposit.
t

1
1

G-2
1
1
