Humphries, Bruce
From: MrArdle, Jim
Sent: Tuesday, October 26, 2004 11:04 AM
To: Humphries, Bruce
Subject: James Van Eliall.etter of October 14, 2004
Jim is referring to a revocation project that was completed in November 2002 for the All Right Mining Permit, File M-85-
061. The entire bond amount of $4,400.00 was used on the Van Ella property to reGaim past disturbances caused by All
Right Mining. All work was completed while the Van Ella's were on site. Prior to commencing construction, the owners
were consulted with and informed of what was to be done and Jim participated in apre-construction walk through with me
and the contractor. Jim was kept informed of the status of work on a daily basis, all work was done with the owners
approval. Work included hauling a large quantity of miscellaneous trash and debris from the site, grading of steep
highwalls, burial of a few large pieces of steel steam shovel parts and revegetation.
A closeout report and pictures should be available in the permanent D(vision file in archives. In addition, the USFS
provided $1,250 for equipment disposal off of the Van Ella Property. I am not aware of anything that was placetl in the
ground that would cause a water contamination problem.
Jim McArdle
Project Manager
