Population parameters of biomass, density and <br />average lei were greater at station #1 than #2. This can be attributed to the better aquatic <br />habitat present at this site. Station #1 was located in spruce/fir ha)ritat characterized by <br />stable soils, boulder/cobble substrate and woody debris. Reproducing pot~ulations of brook and <br />brown trout inhabit this section of Rito Seco Creek. This section shouts no apparent signs of <br />influence from the goldmine. <br /> <br />
