As required by Colorado law, whenever any part of any
coal mine bond is to be released, all interested parties must be noted. This letter is to
notify you that Sunland Mining Corporation is requesting bond release of $96,553 for
successful backfilling and grading of the Apex #2 Mine. The full application for the release
submitted to the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology is on file at the County
Clerk's office in Steamboat Springs. All information on the mine location, maps,
revegetation, etc. is contained in this application. If you have any questions, comments
or disagreements with the proposed bond release, please notify the Colorado Division of
Minerals and Geology at 1313 Sherman Street, 2nd Floor, Denver, Colorado, 80203.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call me.
