As required by Colorado law, whenever any part of any <br />coal mine bond is to be released, all interested paRies must be notified. This letter is to <br />notify you that Sunland Mining Corporation is requesting bond release of $96,553 for <br />successful backfilling and grading of the Apex #2 Mine. The current bond amount is <br />$172,020. The release of $96,553 would still leave $68,808 as an ongoing reclamation <br />bond. Some amount would beheld until year 2002. The full application for the release <br />submitted to the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology is on file at the County <br />Clerk's office in Steamboat Springs. All information on the mine location, maps, <br />revegetation, etc. is contained in this application.
