The CONTRACTOR shall remove from the work site all rubbish, unused <br />materials, and shall fill and dress all holes and cavities made for <br />convenience, and leave all areas in good order and condition, <br />subject to the approval of the PROJECT MANAGER. <br />MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br />No measurement for payment shall be made for mobilization and <br />demobilization. Payment of two-thirds of the lump sum price bid <br />will be made with the first monthly progress payment after <br />completion of the work described above for mobilization. Payment <br />of one-third of the,:lump sum price bid will be made with the final <br />progress payment for the work if demobilization has been completed. <br />If the price bid for mobilization and demobilization is greater than <br />15 percent (15$) of the total contract price, invoices supporting <br />the mobilization costs will be required before payment is approved. <br />Remobilization <br />If remobilization becomes necessary due to seasonal conditions <br />beyond the CONTRACTOR'S control, remobilization costs will be paid <br />based on documented actual costs. No remobilization payment will be <br />made if delays necessitating remobilization were the CONTRACTOR'S <br />responsibility. <br />TASK 2. POND CLEANOUT <br />DESCRIPTION <br />A. West Pit Pond <br />The West Pit Pond is located in the NW1/4 NE1/4 of Section 30, <br />T205, R69W (Map 1). Sediment in the West Pit pond was partially <br />worked in 1992. Remove 2.3 acre-feet of sediment from below the <br />top of the riser pipe. material may be used for gully <br />repair described in Tas 5C with exception to the Hastings Strip <br />gully repair). The rem er should be stockpiled 800 feet north <br />on the south-east side of Chen's Hill, and opposite the West Pit <br />access road on the shoulder. (This material shall not be used as <br />fill to construct the West Pit Diversion as described in Task 3.C <br />unless approved by the PROJECT MANAGER). Topsoil shall be seeded <br />and mulched under Task 5. <br />B. Pond A <br />Pond A is located adjacent to County Road 92 in the NW1/4 SE1/4 <br />of Section 19 (Map 2B.) This pond has filled with sediment from <br />the upland watershed. This sub-task requires the CONTRACTOR to <br />perform sediment removal and embankment repair. Remove 6 acre <br />-8- <br />
