Later, on October 18, <br />h ~ -•c r. uonr.Datora 1978, we received your approval for a modification of <br /> this plan to include eic,ht additional drill sites <br />r• ,,tls iom,ana located on Federal Coal Lease No. D-04720] , owned by <br /> Reliable Coal and Mining Company. On July 16, 1979, <br />•. _sc~,v.Kanyab sae received your approval for a second modification of <br /> this plan to include seven additional holes on Federal <br />~an. Mi55oun Coal Lease No. C-023703, and five additional holes on <br /> Federal Lease No. D-097201. On September 16, 1979, we <br /> received your approval for a third modification of this <br />'~-~tL MANAGER plan to include two additional drill sites on Federal <br /> Coal Lease No. D-047201. On August 18, 1979, we received <br />'+~~~~~ngion,DC Your approval for a fourth modification of this plan to <br /> include four drill sites for rock mechanics studies and <br /> 22 foundation holes. The purpose of this letter is to <br /> request your approval of a fifth modification to the <br /> plan to include three drill sites for determining the <br /> roof characteristics at the proposed "B" Portal slope. <br />The attached map, Exhibit 1, shows the approved drill <br />hole locations on the various coal leases, coal pros- <br />pecting permits and the ex,plorat.ion licenses. All <br />drilling will be conducted in Section 9, Township 2 North, <br />Range 101 West, within the area outlined in this map. <br />The second map, Exhibit 2, shows the hole locations and <br />access roads required for drilling these holes. <br />
