Block 3 <br />The erosion condition composite SSF for this site was 0, which placed this azea in the <br />Stable erosion class. The tabulated results for this survey aze listed in Table 24. The five cross-sections measured in <br />previous reports were measured again and the results are listed below. Graphical representations <br />of these measurements are found in Appendix A. The cross-sections are ordered from highest <br />upslope to lowest. <br />Cross-section 1 Vegetation is well established on the sides and on the bottom of the <br />channel. Rock cobble on the bottom vazies in size from 1 " to 4" in diameter but does not <br />generally show through the vegetation. A review of the cross-section shows that this azea <br />has been very stable over time and has, in fact, improved since the original spring 1992 <br />measurement. <br />Cross-section 2 This area has vegetation on the side slopes and on the bottom of the <br />channel. Rock in the base area of the feature vazies from 1 to 5 inches in diameter. <br />Monitoring to date indicates this channel section is stable. <br />Cross-section 3 Vegetation is established on the side slopes and on the bottom of the <br />channel Rock fragments in the channel bottom vary from 1 to 9 inches in diameter and <br />are providing good armoring. Vegetation in the flow area of this section was in place and <br />undamaged showing only slight degradation from previous yeazs. <br />Cross-section 4 This cross-section is on an azea significantly steeper than the channel <br />cross-section above and is on the lower edge of the bonded strip. Flow in the channel <br />appears to be concentrating into a single deeper channel. The channel appears to have <br />16 <br />
