Apply when wild garlic is 4 [0 8 inches tall. <br />For Canada thistle control, use BANVEL, or BANVEL plus Curtail® or BANVEL <br />plus Roundup® herbicide or Roundup® R7 tank mix treatments. <br />Application may be made during fallow periods for control of volunteer barley, <br />bulbous bluegrass, downy brome, jointed goatgrass, common rye and volunteer <br />wheat when [hey are actively growing. Use 1 pin[ BANVEL with 4-1 Ib Kerb® <br />SOW. Fall seeded wheat may be planted 9 months or more after application. For <br />best performance, make application between mid-October and mid-December, <br />prior to soil freeze up. <br />During tallow periods, apply BANVEL plus Landmaste~ BW or Fallow Master® <br />herbicide to give improved control of kochia, wild buckwheat, prickly lettuce, <br />field bindweed and Canada thistle. Use '/e-'. pint of BANVEL plus 22 to 54 <br />fluid ounces of Landmaster° BW or Fallow Master® herbicide for annual weed <br />control or 9a to '/z pint BANVEL plus 22 to 54 fluid ounces of Landmastet° BW <br />or Fallow Master® herbicide far perennial weed suppression. <br />CROPPING RESTRICTIONS <br />The following recommendations are based on BANVEL use rates up to 4 pints <br />per treated acre. <br />ORN, SORGHUM and SOYBEANS may be planted in the spring following <br />applications made during the previous year. Moisture is essential for BANVEL degradation. <br />Exclude days when ground is frozen. <br />Fallowing a normal harvest of barley, oats, or wheat, any rotation crop may be <br />planted. If the interval before harvest is shortened, such as when cover crops will <br />be plowed under, do not follow up with [he planting of a sensitive crop. <br />CONTROL OF PERENNIAL BROADLEAF WEEDS IN CROPLAND <br />(SPOT APPLICATION ONLY) <br />FOR USE ONLY IN THE STATES OF IDAHO, MONTANA, NEVADA, ORE- <br />GON, UTAH AND WASHINGTON. <br />IMPORTANT <br />Observe all precautions. Field Dock, Curly Ragwort, Tansy <br />ock, Broadleaf Knapweed, Black Spurge, Leafy <br />(Bitterdock) Knapweed, Russian Thistle, Canada <br />RATES AND TIMINGS <br />BANVEL may be applied at any time following a crop harvest m stubble, fallow <br />or other cropland. Once the effect of the chemical has <br />been lost, afollow-up program for seedling control or other cultural pracdces <br />should be instituted. <br />WIPER APPLICATION USES <br />IMPORTANT: Observe all precautions. <br />BANVEL may be applied through wiper application equipment to control or <br />suppress actively growing broadleaf weeds, brash and vines. Use a solution <br />containing 1 part BANVEL to 1 part water. Do not contact desirable vegetation <br />with herbicide solution. Wiper application should only be made to crops(including <br />pastures) and noncropland areas described in this label with the exception ofGrain <br />Sorghum (Milo). <br />STORAGE AND DISPOSAL <br />PROHIBITIONS <br />Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal. <br />PESTICIDE STORAGE <br />Store in original containers in swell-ventilated area separately from fertilizer, <br />feed and foodstuffs. Avoid cross-contamination with other pesticides. Spillage <br />or leakage should be contained and absorbed with clay granules, sawdust, or <br />equivalent material for disposal. <br />PESTICIDE DISPOSAL <br />Triple rinse pesticide from containers and use rinsa[es in the pesticide application. <br />Wastes which cannot be used according to label instructions may be disposed of <br />on site or at an approved waste disposal facility. <br />CONTAINER DISPOSAL <br />Plastic or Metal: After triple rinsing (or equivalent), offer for recycling or recon- <br />ditioning or puncture and dispose of in a sanitary landfill, or by other procedures <br />approved by state and local authorities, such as burning of plastic containers. If <br />burned, stay out of smoke. <br />BULK STORAGE AND DISPOSAL <br />('I'o be printed on labeling for bulk containers only) <br />AGITATE BEFORE USE <br />PROHIBITIONS <br />Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal. Open dumping is <br />prohibited. This product may no[ be mixed, loaded, or used within 50 feet of all <br />we0s including abandoned wells, drainage wells and sinkholes. <br />PESTICIDE STORAGE <br />Ground water contamination may be reduced by diking and flooring of permanent <br />liquid storage sites with an impermeable material. <br />PESTICIDE DISPOSAL <br />Pesticide spray mixture or rinsate [hat cannotbe used according [o label ins Wctions <br />must be disposed of according to Federal and local procedures under Subtitle C <br />of the Resouroe Conservation and Recovery Act. <br />BULK TANK MAINTENANCE <br />Follow clean-out directions in Dealer Bulk Handling Guide for DICAMBA Her- <br />bicide listed under Bulk Storage Tank Requirements. <br />GENERAL <br />Consult Federal, state, or local disposal authorities for approved alternative pro- <br />cedures, such as limited burning. <br />CONDITIONS OF SALE AND WARRANTY <br />The Directions For Use of this product reflect the opinionofexperts based on field <br />use and tests. The directions are believed to be reliable and should be followed <br />carefully. However, it is impossible to eliminate all risks inherently associated with <br />use of this product. Crop injury,ineffectiveness or other unintended consequences <br />may result because of such factors as weather conditions, presence of other <br />materials, or use of the product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling, all <br />of which are beyond the control of MICRO FLO COMPANY LLC ("Micro <br />Flo") or [he Seller. All such risks shall be assumed by the Buyer. Micro Flo <br />warrants that this product conforms to the chemical description on [he label and is <br />reasonably fit for the purposes referted to m the Directions for Use, subject to the <br />inherent risks, referted to above.
