Postemergence applications may be made after seedling
gasses exceed [he 3-leaf stage. Rates of BANVEL greater than 1 pint per treated
acre may severely injure newly seeded gasses. Preplan[ applications-injury to
new seedlings may occur if intervals between application and gals planting is
less than 45 days per pint of BANVEL per treated acre West of the Mississippi
River or 20 days per pint East of the Mississippi River.
ESTABLISHED GRASS STANDS
Esmblished grass stands are perennial grasses planted one orroore seasonsprior to
treatment Certain species: bentgass, carpetgass, smooth brome, buffalograss or
St. Augustine gass maybe injured when treated with BANVEL at ales exceeding
1 pint per treated acre.
WEEDS CONTROLLED
BANVEL, when applied at recommended ales, will control many annual and
biennial weeds and provide control or suppression of many perennial weeds.
(Refer to GENERAL WEED LIST).
RATES AND TIMINGS
pplication rotes and timing of BANVEL treatment are given below.
