The
loadout is located in Trinidad on property named by the AT&SF Fai.lway
Canpany. The authariution for this use has been presented in f~chibit
III-2, said exhibit also furnishes the location of the loadout.
The loadout facility is located adjacent to the AT&SF tracks and
zs
is oo~rised of appn-+Y~++~tely~5 acres. The physical layout of the
facility has been shown on Map V-3. As can be seen on the map, the area
is alrrost flat and all disturbed lands are serviced by the various
oa[q~onents of the sediment control system. It should be noted that
no processing plants are located at the site.
Tt1e operation of the facility is very basic >n that coal is hauled
to the site for crushing and loading into railway cars. There is no
cleaning or washing of coal at the site. The coal is crushed per the
size recd ».~mmnts of TBM's custuners, loaded into the cars arri shipped.
'lY~e reclamation of the site will entail rerroving of all structures
c~stnrcted by TBM and removal of the opal used as pads. The structures
to be raroved as as follows: r-.„char, truck ramp, office and sediment
control system. The coal used in the pads will be rertrn~ed and hauled
to the mine for burial in the last cut. By conq~leting these activities
the site will be left in a condition which is attractive to another
irrlustrial user and consistent with the surface owner's requirements.
~e rec~,;*~~rrts of Rile 4.28 are not applicable to the loadout
aryl TEM has furnished sufficient informati~ to demonstrate oo~lianoe
with the other recd,; ramnts of Rile 4 for the loadout.
VI-5
