r • <br />5.5 PAST NIINING IAD1D USE <br />r <br />As stated previously, TBM will. return the reclaiired lands to <br />rangeland/wildlife habitat and industrial land. The mine site will be <br />returned to rangeland/wildlife habitat while the loadout will be maintained <br />for industrial purposes. Each of the land uses will be detailed in the <br />following paragraphs. <br />The loadout site being leased from the Atchison, 'Ibpeka and Santa <br />Fe Railway many will be returned to the Railway ~rtq~any in a wndition <br />capable of maintaining the industrial usage of the site. 'Iliis usage is <br />consistent with the pze-mining and current usage as zoned by Ias Arvm3s <br />aunty. <br />In order to return the site to an ;nrii7ctrlal setting cronsistent <br />with the surface owners requirements all the structures that TBM constructs <br />at the site would have to be removed. As part of the reclamation plan <br />for the site, TBM will remove all the structures it has constructed <br />unless the Railway CASi1~Jaily T'PZ11Psts that they be left In place. The <br />strvcttnes to be retroved would include: ooi~onents of sediment control <br />system, truck ramp and support timbers, offices, and czvshing and sizing <br />equipment. In addition, any areas in which coal was laid down to create <br />a bench will be stripped of this material. The material will be returned <br />to the pit for burial. <br />The coimpnts of the surface owner can be found in Exhibit V-1. As <br />can be seen, ooncw_z~ioe is given for maintaining the industrial usage <br />capability at the loadout. <br />The mine site will be reclaime3 and returned to a ~nbined usage <br />of rangeland wildlife habitat. ~lis post m;n;nq land use is insistent <br />V-27 <br />
