Robinson TD Irv Nash <br />9MEET NO 2 <br />As mentioned above, the transformers on the 1260W had developed leaks <br />due to the method of mounting. It was felt that unless another means of mounting <br />was used, leaks would again develop. Therefore, the two (2) mounting pedestals, <br />welded to the bottom of each transformer tank, were removed and a mounting plate <br />was attached, with a continuous weld, to the bottom of the tank. Due to the tank <br />design of the spare transformer, a mounting plate was not needed. This trans- <br />former was adequately supported by bolting the transformer mounting brackets to steel <br />channel that was welded to the bulkhead and floor of the transformer compartment. <br />Attached is a copy of the hazardous waste manifest for the transporta- <br />tion of the hazardous material. <br />MAR:MP <br />Attachment <br />cc: Mr. H.
