The pe:rtnit revision is to allow Bowie Resottrce5 Limited to <br />change from room and pillar to long wall noting. According to information provided to you by <br />Bowie's consultant, the change to long vratl miting will not change the amount of coal produced, <br />the antouat of water needed to complete the mining, nor increase ~e amount of water depl tion <br />addressed in the formal secrion 7 consultation for Permit Revision Number 3 completed o <br />December 10, 1999 (biological opinion number ES/GJ-b-CO-99-F-034). Consequently, P -~ <br />will not cause additional impacts to federally 1lsted species, and Therefore, there is no need for <br />further Endangered Species Act consultation prior to it, approval. <br />Thank you for alerting vs of this change to t'te project.
