The permit revision proposes to <br />increase the boundary of the Bowie No. 2 Coal !cline by 560 acres for underground mining. The <br />additional acres would bring the remainder of the Iron Point Tract Federal Coal Lease into the <br />• Bowie No. 2 Mine. <br />If there aze water depletions associated with this portion of the coal mine that have not been <br />consulted on for impacts to the endangered fishes in the tJppes Colorado River Basin. formal <br />section 7 consultation under the Endangered Species Act should take place.
