4 <br />MLRD <br />Bonding Adjustments cont. <br />Page 4 <br />Carol Russell <br />Based on this plan, by the time the ramp of the haul road reaches <br />the middle between Sec. 9 and Sec. 8, a total of 23,036 C.Y. of <br />overburden/interburden material has been already backfilled, which <br />was way over the 17,732 C.Y. of backfilling to be carried out for <br />this specific purpose. <br />The following are the details of the plans, which GEC Minerals, Inc. <br />proposes to carry out as soon as possible. <br />Description Initiation Date Deadline <br />Sout Portion ONLY <br />Prospecting Pit Immediately July 15, 1983 <br />The South portion of the pit has been backfilled,and graded. All the <br />remaining work is re-seeding, (seeds have been ordered). As soon as <br />the seeds are available, this work can be done in a week. The final <br />top four (4) feet of backfilling will be carried out by GEC as soon <br />as Dorchester finishes their backfilling (North Portion). <br />Backfilling Existing Pit June 10, 1983 August 10, 1983 <br />Currently, GEC has been using open pit and auger alternative method for <br />the 5th Seam operation. The backfilling cannot be carried out until the <br />open pit mining starts, which will be June 10, 1983.
