Stipulation Ill (Diversion ditch design). Issue resolved. Review of
material submitted by U.I. by MLR indicates this concern has been
adequately resolved.
2. Stipulation Ili (Stream channel reconstruction plans). Resolution
reached. Discussion with Sorry Zimpfer indicated that the plan proposed
by U.I. in this meeting is acceptable. Briefly, U.I. will identify and
reestablish channels in those drainages where channels existed prior to
mining. Channel reconstruction shall consist of dozing a 1-2 foot cut
(one blade width wide) in the lowest part of the reconstructed vall.eti~.
Topsoil will be applied to the edge of this cut. Utah cvill submit this
information to be incorporated into the permit document.
