EFCI had left several established trees on the Pond 3 embankment. These trees had volunteered on the
pond embankment and after grading they stood several feet above the surrounding topography. In
response to specific direction from Ms. Saunders at the recorded informal conference on 15 January
2003, EFCI removed the `tree islands' at Pond 3. On 24 January 2003 the Division confirmed the trees
had been removed.
In response to Ms. Saunders concern about the portal vent pipe, EFCI capped the pipe.
