WEED CONTROL - If necessary, weed control measures will be employed for control of any nobous weed
species. Control measures will also be used if the growth of weed species on the reclaimed area threatens
further spread of the weeds to nearby areas. In the event that weed control is required, herbicides will be of
those that are approved by the Soil Conservation Service. A Weed Control Plan will be util¢ed as follows:
^ Asemi-annual inspection of all disturbed areas by trained weed control personnel.
^ Treat any identified infested areas with appropriate control measures. The La Plata County E>Qensan
office, and or, the County Weed Manager will be consulted to determine best control methods..
^ Inspect the infested area after 2 weeks and re-treat as required.
^ Inspect the site at 4-week intervals after the second inspection and re-spray as required.
^ If any major amount of weed control refuse is left from the previous year's growth, it will be burned on
site.
