<br />The CONTRACTOR shall exercise extreme caution at all times during <br />handling, transporting, and placing materials in the warehouse. Items <br />shall be placed in the warehouse in such a manner that prevents spillage <br />or leakage, and items shall be arranged into rows in such a manner that <br />allows access to each container for the purpose of sampling and analysis <br />to be conducted by the state or a state hired contractor. <br />All empty containers at the mine, or containers having only a residue <br />remaining in the bottom of the container, can be salvaged or disposed of <br />in accordance with the specifications listed in the Special Conditions <br />for non-hazardous materials. For the purposes of this specification a <br />"residue" is defined as no more than one inch of material remaining in <br />the bottom of the container or container inner liner, or no more than 3% <br />by weight of the total capacity of the container if the container is less <br />than or equal to 110 gallons in size, or no more than 0.3% by weight of <br />the total capacity of the container if the container is greater than 110 <br />gallons in size. <br />Section III.3.3.A.3 - 4entilation Fan Mine Entry Back fill <br />The portion of this section regarding backfilling behind the block wall <br />location is hereby amended to require a minimum of 50 ft, of <br />non-combustible rock and/or concrete fill.
