Division <br />December 17, 1986 <br />[de have shown [hat the original application as approved provided an overall <br />density standard of dD0 stems per acre and that this is necessary to achieve <br />the dual postmining land use. The Divisivn continues to accept the shrub <br />clump concept and seemed tv merely wan[ a mu re specific statement of the den- <br />sity standard in the mid-term review. [Je have provided that in our response <br />as corrected here. <br />The Division's mid-term review comments have provided nu technical ur l~ga1 <br />basis for changing the standard and we see no need to change it. Therefore, <br />request the Division's concurrence in Trapper's proposal, which is reflected <br />in the attached revised sections of the permit.
