<br />2.5 Pte-Law Disturbance <br /> <br />1. A lazge portion of the affected land surface subject to this application for a <br />milling permit is composed of waste dump material from previous mining <br />operations dating back to the 1870's. None of the land surface disturbed by <br />these eazlier operations was reclaimed. (Item 1) <br />2. All of the roads providing access to this mill site and tailings pond area were <br />constructed many yeazs ago. These access roads will remain in place after the <br />cessation of milling operations by COM Ina (Item 1). <br />3. The roads will be stabilized to include water bars... (Item 3: Apri128, 1995) <br />4. COM Inc. will also reclaim lands disturbed by eazlier mining operators during <br />the implementation of this plan. (Item 1) <br />2.6 General Reclamation Methods <br />1. Reclamation cost estimates from Item 3: May 31, 1995 COM application <br />adequacy response are located in Attachment 1. <br />2. ..the slash material (contained within the topsoil stockpile located near the <br />southeast corner of the existing tailings dam) will be chipped and used for <br />mulch or removed from the site.
