<br />The following revegetation success standards were proposed and approved by <br />the Division as a result of Technical Revision No. 16. <br />Vegetative cover: 41 <br />Herbaceous production: 514 Ibs/ac. (air dry wt. ) <br />Woody plant density: None (eliminated via TR-16) <br />Diversity: At least three perennial grass species, each contributing at least <br />3% but not greater than 60% relative cover. At least one of these grasses <br />will be a warm season grass and at least one will be a cool season grass <br />species. <br />The Division has approved the use of straw mulch at a rate of 2 tons/acre as a <br />means to meet soil stabilization requirement (4.15.4). <br />As a result of Technical Revision No. 16, the permittee included descriptions of <br />revegetation success methods to measure herbaceous cover and production <br />and species diversity as required by Rule (4.15.7(1) and (2). These methods are <br />described in detail on pages 4b and 4c of section 2.05.4(2)(e) of the permit <br />application. <br />IX. Post-mining Land Use <br />The post-mining land use has been approved to be rangeland and wildlife <br />habitat, which was the pre-mining land use of the affected area. <br />X.
