There were a number of additional stipulations which have apparently
been addressed and/or had the numbers changed to correspond to one of those
listed above. What may have happened is that a number of concerns were
labeled as stipulations, then, as these were addressed, the remaining
unresolved concerns were re-numbered and attached as stipulations to the
permit. For the record, the only stipulations of consequence are those which
were actually included as riders to the permits and are listed above.
Of these stipulations, numbers 7 and 17 need to be addressed and incorporated
into the permit application. The remainder of the stipulations have been
complied with at some point and will now be terminated.
Section IV - Discussion Summary and Request for Revisions
At this point, the mine has been almost entirely reclaimed. The sedimentation
ponds and diversion ditches were removed and seeded in the spring of 1992.
The topsoil and subsoil storage areas were also seeded. Given this status,
there are several questions which arise with regard to completed and remaining
activities. Responses should be in a format which can be directly
incorporated into the permit application. There should be three copies of all
revised permit application pages and maps.
Please submit a certified, as-built, post-mining topography of the entire
reclaimed area (Rules 4.14.2(1) and 3.03.1(2)<a)). This map should also
delineate the actual disturbed/reclaimed areas and any pre-law areas that
were re-disturbed (Rule 2.10.3(1)(k)).
-3-
