'' r• • • <br />XXIV.Compatibility With Anticipated Adjacent 0 erations - Rule 2.07.6 (2)(i) <br />Two adjacent coal mining operations have been permitted by the Division. The <br />Newlin Creek Mine was backfilled, graded and seeded during 1989. No further <br />mining operations are anticipated there. The Division revoked the permit for <br />the adjacent GEC operation and bond has been forfeited. No further mining is <br />planned here either. <br />The expanded permit area encompasses the Newlin Creek permit area and portions <br />of the GEC permit area. No surface disturbance is planned in these areas. <br />EFCI is not assuming any of the reclamation liability for these areas. <br />EFCI has submitted plans to use the GEC East Pit as a refuse disposal area. <br />These plans are currently being reviewed by the Division. <br />In accordance with Rule 2.07.6(2)(1), the Division finds that the operation is <br />not inconsistent with other adjacent coal mining operations. <br />The operation is in compliance with the requirements of this section. <br />XXV. Reclamation Fees Required_by_30 CFR, Chapter 7, Subchapter_R_- <br />-R~ e 2~1T7~'(- - o - - - - - - - <br />Information from the OSMRE supplied by the Applicant Violator System on <br />January 17, 1991 confirmed that reclamation fees required by 30 CFR, <br />Chapter VII, Subchapter R have been paid.
