<br />Bruce Humphries - 2 - May 6, 1992 <br />Mr. Mowad received today the analyses of a duck and a coot (the two <br />ducks) reported by BMG early in April - copy attached. The report <br />compiled from analyses done at Colorado State University Jeterinary <br />Diagnostic Laboratory suggests that the causes of death ware not <br />related to emissions or ingestion of process cyanide. <br />The USF&WS does not know at what concentrations cyanide ii water <br />becomes toxic to wildlife. <br />BMG is following USF&WS's present protocol for collecting, <br />analyzing, and reporting bird kills. <br />LDO/yjb <br />2935E <br />
