A study carried out on reclaimed
lands at the Seneca II Mine in 1982 concluded that natural regeneration
of shrubs on reclaimed lands was a viable method of shrub reestablishment
in order to meet the density requirement. The CMLR concurred in their
letter of March 16, 1983.
