Drainage After Mining
After mining the landform will consist of a 22 acre lake with
shoreline, and 6.5 acres along the front of Nome Street and
132nd Avenue that will drain in a historical manner and the re-
maining 14+ acres consisting of land areas draining into the
lake. Given these condition, the amount of runoff leaving the
property will be considerably less than occured. naturally,
28.6 cfs versus 102.60. The remaining land area will flow into
the lake which will have approximately 20 feet of freeboard
between the lower water level and the actual homesite construc-
tion area. This amount of freeboard is more than sufficient
capacity to handle storm water falling on the remain property.
