The Division finds that surface coal mining and reclamation <br />operations to be performed under this permit will be <br />consistent with other such operations anticipated to be <br />performed in areas adjacent to the permit area <br />(2.07.6(2)(1)). <br />10. The Division currently holds two corporate sureties from Aetna <br />Casualty and Surety Company. Bond 645100208573BCA in the <br />amount of $7,585,393.00 and bond 645100208568BCA in the <br />amount of $3,000,000.00 adequately cover the cost to perform <br />any and all remaining reclamation activities at the Eckman <br />Part complex. Details concerning bond release parcels and <br />associated acreages can be found in the Division files <br />(2.07.6.(2)(j)). <br />11. The Division has made a negative determination for the <br />presence of prime farmland within the permit area. The <br />decision was based on the publication "Important Farmlands <br />Inventory of Colorado" USDA, Soil Conservation Service, <br />Denver, Colorado, October 1982. It states that no prime <br />farmland mapping units are found within the permit area or <br />within Routt county. It is also based on a correspondence <br />from Mr. Charles Betts, USDA Soil Conservationist for Routt <br />county dated August 15, 1979 (2.07.6(2)(k)). <br />12.
