STIPULATION N0. 14
WITHIN 30 DAYS OF PERMIT ISSUANCE THE PERMITTEE SHALL INCORPORATE INTO THE
PERMIT DOCUMENT A DISCUSSION OF THE EXISTING STOCK WATERING POND. (THIS
DISCUSSION SHOULD INCLUDE THE SIZE OF THE POND, DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION DATA,
CONSTRUCTION DATE).
Status: Resolved (December 20, 1984). The requested discussion was
submitted by CYCC.
STIPULATION N0. 15
WITHIN 30 DAYS OF PERMIT ISSUANCE THE PERMITTEE SHALL PROVIDE THE DIVISION, TO
BE INCORPORATED INTO THE PERMIT DOCUMENT, A PLAN FOR CONTROLLING SEDIMENT FROM
THE DISTURBED AREA ABOVE THE HOMESTEAD IRRIGATION DITCH.
Status: Resolved (December 20, 1984). CYCC submitted a discussion of the
area to be reclaimed above the Homestead Ditch. Technical Revision
No. 1 replaced the initial plan to place straw bales with placement
of a silt fence above the ditch for sediment control.
STIPULATION N0. 16
WITHIN 90 DAYS OF PERMIT ISSUANCE COLORADO YAMPA COAL COMPANY SHALL PROVIDE
DOCUMENTATION OF THE ROUTT COUNTY COMMISSIONER'S DECISION REGARDING THE
PERMANENT RELOCATION OF COUNTY ROAD 179, OR PROVIDE A RECLAMATION PLAN FOR THE
ROAD.
Status: Resolved (February 18, 1985). CYCC submitted the appropriate
documentation.
The operation is in compliance with all stipulations.
VI. Bonding
The Division has reviewed the reclamation performance bond for the CYCC Mine
No. 3 in accordance with Rule 3.02.2(4). The current performance bond for the
CYCC Mine No. 3 Mine is 53,732,700. The Division feels that this bond amount
is sufficient to complete all necessary reclamation work at Mine #3.
