I
Summary of monetary requirements from DMG, as of April 13,2000:
1) We have received the$100.00 check for the Succession of Operator processing fee. Thank you for attending to this.
2) The bond for$2,500.00, in the name of the Succeeding Party(Aspen Enterprises) needs to be posted with DMG as
soon as possible. This is the responsibility of Aspen Enterprises,
3) The$450.00 for late annual fees($250.00 annual fee,plus$200.00 late charge) must be given to the Division in
cash by April 26, 2000. If a check is posted with the Division for this amount by April 17, 2000, it will be accepted;
no checks will be acceptable at any later date. If this amount is not received by April 26,2000, the Division will put
the matter before the Mined Land Reclamation Board on that date and seek revocation of this permit and seizure of
the currently posted financial warranty in order to complete reclamation at the site.
In addition, according to Barbara Chiappone, we are still missing the originals of the Succession of Operator application,
having only received them in Xerox form. This is unacceptable, and can not be processed until we have the originals. The
attached sheets outline the names that are incorrect and the notarizations which must be changed in order for the
application to be legal.
If you have any further questions, please contact me or Carl Mount at(303)866-3567. 1 will be out of the office
tomorrow, April 14, but I will be in on Monday the 170 if you have further questions for me. Carl should be in the office
both days also, although possibly not for the entire workday.
Cc: Carl Mount, DMG Cr
Jill McLemore, DMG n
Barbara
Mazza, DMG //3 /2 rr-D7v
Barbara Chiappone, DMG /K-'` 1 J " "
Aj
