Approved August 25, <br />1998. <br />P&M has applied for five bond release (SL) applications since the last permit renewal <br />application was received. <br />SL-2 A Phase I bond release request was submitted for the West and <br />Center Ridge Areas. Approved September 18, 1997. <br />SL-3 A bond release application for the East Ridge, Center Ridge and <br />South of Shop area was withdrawn. <br />SL-4 A Phase I bond release request for the Moffat Area was requested. <br />Approved October 26, 1998. <br />SL-5 A final bond release request for the interim program lands located <br />in East Ridge, Center Ridge and "South of Shop" was deemed <br />complete on March 2, 1999. Review of this application is in <br />process. <br />SL-6 A final. bond release request for the Upper Shop facility area has <br />been submitted. Application will be deemed complete upon <br />receipt of the proof of publication in the local newspaper. <br />Two Notice of Violations (NOV) were issued to P&M Coal Company at the Edna Mine <br />since the last permit renewal as listed below. <br />CV-97-007 This NOV was issued for failure to prevent erosion and siltation. <br />Several portions of the operation were cited. The NOV was <br />terminated October 10, 1997. <br />CV-98-006 This NOV was issued for failure to maintain downdrain #3 in the <br />Moffat Area.
