O'Connor, Reclamation Specialist <br />Dear Mr. O'Connor: <br />In regard to Henderson Development, your file No. 80-110, <br />please review the attached revised extraction and reclamation <br />plans for your approval. The changes in these two plans are <br />as listed below. They include, I believe, answers to your <br />questions in your letter dated 11/2/83. <br />1.) Reclamation Plan - Deletion of Island. <br />2.) Excavation Plan <br />a. Phase 1 - Remains the same, Presently Phase 1 has <br />been mined and is being utilized for overburden <br />and stockpile storage. <br />b. Phase 5 - Becomes Phase 3 and remains the location <br />of the crusher, stockpiles and related equipment. <br />c. Phases 2,3,4 - changed to Phases 2A and 2B. Phase <br />2A consists of mining the top 35' of aggregate <br />from south to north, and Phase 2B consists of <br />mining below the top 35' to bedrock (approximately <br />70'). <br />For all Phases, mining may come within 25' of adjacent <br />property, Nome Street and US 85. All topsoil will remain on <br />site, and it will be stockpiled in the 25' setback areas, <br />and on Phase 1 and other reclaimed areas, especially along <br />Nome Street where up to 125' will be backfilled to allow <br />essential home site construction. Upon completion approxi- <br />mately 11 acres on non-lake area will remain as bank and <br />homesite areas. <br />1 <br />
