After the placement of the TDR and the cement plugs, a temperature survey will be run to
establish a base line for this location. The initial baseline temperature survey will be run after
allowing sufficient time for cement to cure, but not more than 30 days after placing cement.
The TDR will be monitored on a quarterly basis.
A temperature survey will be run at any time nearby monitoring indicates the possibility of
upward movement of cavity fluid. In any event a temperature survey will run at least every two
years.
This modification will be an enhancement to the subsidence monitoring program
The bonding for this well will remain in place during the time this well is used for monitoring
purposes and until the well is finally Plugged and Abandoned.
If you have any questions or if further action is required prior to the conversion of this well
please contact me at 970-285-0407.
Sincerely,
E~~o e~Gv~
Environmental Safety
and Health Manager
cc Kent Walter, Bureau of Land Management
Elisabeth Evans, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
Sandy Stavnes, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
