Table 2: Financial Warranty Determinations
2. Warranty consideration for affected lands remaining above $ 17,030.28
water and not under consideration for release, excluding Amendment
2. This includes a one time seeding of landowner affected Corridor 3.
Corridor 3 has been affected by activities of the landowner, and as
such, approval of this Technical Revision provides for the release of
Corridor 3 upon a one time seeding of the area. Until that time, the
area is included under this portion of the total affected lands not
presently under consideration for release.
This area also includes a stockpile area (2.1646 acres) in the
Southern portion of Amendment 1. The lands surrounding the
stockpile area have been adversely affected by landowner activities
which have destroyed reclamation/revegetation efforts there.
Revegetation of the stockpile area is provided, but with the caveat
that upon removal of the stockpile, revegetation efforts not be
interfered with by the landowner, and if they are, be subject to release
after the first seeding.
71.4957 acres affected land x $ 238.20/acre =
3. Amendment 2 Acres will be opened up at 50 percent of the $ 28,345.81
anticipated area to be under water (apx. 30.00 acres) + a shoreline of
16.5233, or a total of 46.5233 acres pending revegetation at the
maximum point of disturbance of lands remaining above water. This
total would float across the Amendment 2 site on an acre to acre
basis of land to water beyond this point.
46.5233 acres x $238.20/acre = $ 11,081.85
Soil salvage would be required, along with soil spreading. Salvage
would occur over the 46.5233 acres until the area of land falls below
that required to resoil lands remaining above water level, at which
time, excess soil could be removed for market. Soil volume
necessary to resoil 46.5233 acres to a minimum depth of six (6)
inches:
46.5233 acres x 806.7 cu. yds./acre = 37,530.35 cu. yds.
Costs to spread 37,530.35 cu. yds. with an average distance of 650
feet = apx. $ 0.46/cu.yd. based upon interpolation of figures
established by DMG for Scrapers hauling between 550 to 1750 feet
(see attached DMG calculations).
37,530.35 cu. yds. soil x $ 0.46/cu.yd. _ $ 17,263.96
TOTAL =
2
