.; <br />- 9 - <br />faith with Western-Utah in any reasonable attempt the <br />latter might make to obtain grants or other forms of <br />financial assistance for socioeconomic impact mitigation <br />which could be offset under the terms of this paragraph <br />against obligations of Western-Utah under this Agreement. <br />Where a grant or other form of financial assistance re- <br />ceived by a Governmental Entity subsequent to execution <br />of this Agreement can be attributed in part, but not in <br />whole, to the presence of project-related or induced <br />population growth or project-related activities, a credit <br />j will be given to Western-Utah for the portion of that <br />grant or other assistance reasonably attributable to the <br />project-related or induced growth or activities. <br />S. Under the terms and conditions of this Agree- <br />ment, Western-Utah and Deseret, through Western-Utah, <br />will provide or cause to be provided an affordable, re- <br />liable, diversified, and quality housing program for the <br />project-related and induced population. Such guarantees <br />ale'vital to insure the stability, integrity, and perma- <br />nency of the Rangely and County communities during both <br />' the construction and operational phases of the Mine and <br />Power Plant. <br />T. The parties to this Agreement recognize that <br />some project-related population growth may result in <br />Dinosaur, Colorado, and that Western-Utah should make <br />efforts to accommodate the anticipated growth. Never- <br />theless, the parties to this Agreement agree that it is <br />in the best interests of Western-Utah, Deseret, the <br />County, Rangely, and the Special Taxing Districts for <br />Rangely to become the focal point of the population <br />growth which will occur in Colorado as a result of con- <br />struction and operation of the Diine, Power Plant, and <br />
