ICI . <br />Mr. INGRAM moved that the following Resolution be <br />adopted: <br />' BEFORE TEIE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />OF TEIE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON <br />STATE OF COLORADO <br />' RESOLUTION <br />Case: No. M75-1 Cooley Gravel Company <br />4465 South Highway 8 <br />Morrison, Colorado <br />Special Exception to allow mining <br />and crushing of gravel and rock <br />in a Mineral Conservation Zone <br />District <br />WHEREAS, Cooley Gravel Company filed on July 3, 1975, an appli- <br />cation for Special Exception to a Mineral Conservation Zone District under <br />the Jefferson County Zoning Resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of the request for the Special Exception <br />was to allor7 the applicant to excavate and remove gravel and rock; and <br />WHEREAS, the commencement of the request for Special Exception <br />had to be delayed until the Board of County Commissioners made its decis- <br />i~^ revardir.a the rezonirc of the subject Property to Mineral Conservation; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Board of Adjustment <br />at t:he Jefferson County Courthouse, Golden, Colorado, on September 10, <br />197`.1; and <br />WHEREAS, based on all of the evidence presented, including com- <br />meni:s from all referral agencies, comments of the Jefferson County <br />Geologist, and all other interested parties, this Board makes the follow- <br />ing findings: <br />1. That the subject property was properly posted f`or fifteen <br />(15) days prior to the September 10, 1975 public hearing as required by <br />law.. <br />2. That Cooley Gravel Company owns the property to be mined <br /> <br />in :Eee simple. <br />3.• That the Denver Mountain Parks property and thca Mt. Falcon <br />Parlc property arc surrounding land uses which could be affected by the <br />min:Lng operation. <br />,:. <br />
