Other mining and reclamation plans in <br />the area have achieved success in restoring land to its intended useful <br />purpose. <br />4. The weight of the evidence demonstrates that the Applicant has met the <br />minimum requirements of Construction Materials Rule 3.1.1. <br />G. Reclamation Plan Tvpe, Why Chosen, Acreage to be Reclaimed, <br />Earthmoving Methods and Mechanics <br />1. Construction Materials Rule 6.4.5(2)(a) requires specific descriptions of <br />elements of a reclamation plan, including types of reclamation, a <br />description of why each reclamation plan was chosen, acreage amounts <br />and a general discussion of reclamation methods as related to the <br />mechanics of earthmoving. <br />2. The Objector asserts that the Applicant has failed to comply with the <br />requirements of Construction Materials Rule 6.4.5(2)(a). <br />3., Reclamation plan details and descriptions have been provided throughout <br />the application process. Slope grading, slope configuration, reseeding and <br />revegetation will help reestablish rangeland on the side slopes, and the pit <br />floor will be graded and replanted with crops. All slopes, the pit floor and <br />any other disturbed areas will be reclaimed according to the reclamation <br />plan, which requires reclamation of the entire 156-acre site.
