The intersection of CR 521 and Gosney Access road should have
an ingress right turn deceleration lane and an egress right turn
acceleration added.
2. There is no requirement to add any left turn speed change lanes
to the site access from a capacity or level-of-service consideration
however, a flagger may be required after 10 years to aid trucks
turning onto CR 521 northbound from the site.
3. The total Flexible E 18's generated by the gravel pit expansion
and operations consolidation is 140,768 over the next 20 years.
This represents 4.2% of the total Flexible E 18's applied to the
section of CR 521 to the north of the site and 2.8% of the total
Flexible E 18's applied to the south of the site for an average of
3.5% over the total project.
4. The Gosney & Sons, Inc. share of the road improvement costs
along CR 521 is 3.5% of the budgeted amount of $625,000, or
$22,400.
27
