,GEOMETRIC DESIGN FOR SITE ENTRANCE <br />There is no requirement from a capacity and level-of-service consideration to <br />' increase the number of lanes at any of the site entrances. It is however, <br />suggested that a speed change lane be incorporated into the main entrance at <br />' CR 521 to reduce the chances of an accident occurring during site egress and/or <br />' ingress. Figure 5 indicates one possible geometric design for the main site <br />entrance that incorporates the suggested speed change lane. This <br />' configuration of a deceleration lane for southbound traffic entering into the site <br />meets the requirements of the State Highway Access Code.
