Additional vehicle volume and classification counts were
' made August 20, 1992 at the intersection of the site access road and CR 521
for both CR 521 and the site access road. The vehicle classification is as
' follows:
Table I
1 VEHICLE CLASSIFICATION AT SITE ENTRANCE
t PC/PU 10 WHEELER' WATER COMB'
TRUCK TRUCK
' GOSNEY DRIVE 80.170 4.6% 0 15.3%
' 10 wheeler --large SU dump truck
Comb. An ADT was
estimated by considering a peak hour factor of 10.0. This yields a 24 hour
count of 1080 vehicles on CR 521 at the entrance to the site including the
Gosney and Sons site traffic. The County counted an ADT of 1049 vehicles on
March 18, 1991 south of US 160B. Since these locations are very close to each
other (less than 2 miles), it is assumed that the ADTs are comparable. With
this assumption, the total traffic growth rate is 0.18 percent per month or 2.19
' percent per year.
