C~
-5-
•
plans for reclamation of the Delta loadout and expected
activity at the refuse disposal area during the temporary
cessation of operations. In addition, an indication of the
extent of clean up of the mine bench area facilities which
could be performed or are planned during temporary cessation is
requested by the Division under Rule 2.05.3(3)(a).
6. A revision of the subsidence monitoring program has been
requested and is warranted based on the Division's review of
the second semi-annual monitoring report received
June 20, 1986. The proposal was to monitor one additional time
and then suspend monitoring until resumption of active mining.
The Division agrees that the additional survey is necessary,
however, the subsidence monitoring should be continued during
the period of temporary cessation as an annual survey. The
annual surveys should be preformed at a regular 12-month
interval following the next quarterly survey with reports
submitted to the Division within three (3) months of field
measurements. The program of quarterly monitoring will be
required to resume and continue upon resumption of active
mining. Revised pages should be provided for insertion in
Section 2.05.6(6) of the permit document.
III.
