If the area is mined, backfilling will take place and reclama- <br />tion will proceed as is discussed under Reclamation Phase V. The~west <br />edge of Phase VII will be backfilled and seeded. <br />Phase VII-A <br />The west and east edges of Phase VIZ-A will be backfilled and seeded. <br />As in Phases V and VI, the back half of Phase VII-A will be backfilled <br />as overburden becomes available. As soon as a sufficient area is <br />backfilled along the southern edge and will not be redisturbed it will <br />be seeded. After completion of backfilling, the shoreline areas will <br />be seeded. The east and west edges will also be backfilled and seeded. <br />Phase VIII-A <br />The west, east, and northern edges of this P!:ase will be backfilled <br />and seeded. <br />Phase IX-A <br />The west and southern edges as well as the edges of Plart Site III will <br />be backfilled and sealed. <br />Phase X-A <br />The dike area will have been completed and seeded. The northern edge <br />of the excavation up to the marsh area located in the northwest corner <br />of Phase X-A will be backfilled and seeded. <br />The dike will be constructed approximately 100 fee[ wide as measured from <br />the tap of the river side of the dike to the toe of the dike on the lake's <br />edge. The dike will be raised to a point appro~timately 9 feet above the bed <br />of the Cache Ia Poudre River. The top os the dike will be approximately 30 <br />feet with the slope toward the lake at approximately 5:1, The dike on the <br />river side will be 2:1. The dike will be seeded in the first appropriate <br />season following its completion. The river aide of the dike will be rip- <br />rapped with broken concrete and other suitable material. The inferior <br />portion of the dike will also be re-enforced with similar material before <br />being covered with overburden and topsoil. <br />There will be three roads left on site after mining; these are being left at <br />the landowners request. One road crosses the property on an east-west axis. <br />The two other roads which will be left are being left as access to the property. <br />These roads will connect with the east-west; cne road will run between <br />Phases III and V and the other between Phases VIII-A and VI-A. <br />The office site and Plant Site I1 and ILI will not be mined, but will be <br />graded and seeded when they are no longer in use. <br />
