<br />6. CHEMICALS AND EXPLOSIVES. No chemicals, other than <br />explosives, fertilizers or soil amendments, will be used on <br />National Forest System lands withcu', approval of the Forest <br />Service. No chemicals, petroleum products or explosives <br />will he stored on National Forest System lands. Small <br />amounts used in daily operations are not included in this <br />requirement. <br />7, STATE NOTIFICATION. The District Ranger will <br />notify the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board of the <br />approval of this Operating Plan and any supplemental plans, <br />in accordance with cooperative plans in force. <br />8. BONDING. Joint bonding is accepted as requested in <br />the Operating Plan. A proportionate share of the total <br />State Bond will be assigned to the Forest Service to cover <br />the National Forest System land involved, in accordance with <br />the cooperative agreement. <br />9. ROAD CONSTRUCTION. As requested in the Operating <br />Plan, the method and guidelines to the used to approve the <br />road construction within claim boundaries is approved. <br />10. PARALLEL REQUIREMENTS. As requested in the Operating <br />Plan, certification or approval issued by the State of <br />Colorado or other Federal agencies, or compliance with laws <br />and regulations relating to mining operations, may be accepted <br />as compliance with similar or parallel requirements of 36 <br />CFR 228 The District <br />Ranger will make this determination on a case by case basis <br />and notify the operator in writing, <br />11. ADJACENT LANDS. National Forest System lands <br />adjacent to the North and South Placer, not within claim <br />boundaries, will be protected from slides, sidecastiny of <br />overburden and other materials, erosion and from other <br />damage. <br />12. RECLAMATION MEASURES. The Forest Service may <br />recommend reclamation measures inconsistent with those <br />measures in the Colorado approved mining permit, In the <br />event such recommendations are made, a joint conference <br />between State of Colorado Mined Reclamation staff, Forest <br />Service personnel and Castle Concrete shall occur to resolve <br />differences. <br />13.
