Fish and Wildlife: The information concerning
fish and wildlife can be found in the Environ-
mental Analysis prepared by the U.S.G.S. (Exhibit 7)
2. Prime Farmland: As outlined in Section 2.04.12 (3)
of the regulations, the applicant requests a neg-
ative determination for the following reasons:
a. The land has not been historically used as
cropland.
b. The slope of the land is greater than 108.
c. The land is not irrigated or naturally sub-
irrigated.
3. Reclamation: Reclamation will begin immediately
following closure of the mine. The mine area and
the sedimentation pond will be re-graded to pre-
mining conditions as shown on the attached
plans. The roadways will be left to provide access
for the landowners. The mine opening will be col-
lapsed and graded to match the surrounding hill-
side. Topsoil will be distributed over the dis-
turbed areas at an average depth of six (6) inches.
ENGLEWOOO - GRAND JUNCTION
